Here's the update from our June 2nd newsletter!

The Deluxe Slipcased Gift Edition of It: The 25th Anniversary Special Limited Edition by Stephen King is now more than 50% sold out after just 10 days, putting it well ahead of the pace of the Gift Edition of Full Dark, No Stars, which sold out in two months last year.

Latest production update, which we'll be emailing to everyone who already ordered:

"The interior design is stunning and unlike any book we've ever produced before, and the proofreading process has begun. This is a LARGE book and the multiple rounds of proofreading will take some time, but we have our best proofreaders working on it. The artwork is incredible, too, and we're extremely pleased with how that part of the production turned out. Glen Orbik is signing the signature sheets now and then the sheets will be sent to King to sign last. We will let you know when all of the sheets are back in our hands, safe and sound."

It must be exciting to work on IT. A must read. Steep price, but well worth one of the masters best works. The cover is beautiful, by the way.

There have been some talks of doing prints of some kind, but right now our main focus is finishing production so the book can go to the printer on time to be published this year.

2.) Who suggested it:CD or Mr. King?
The deal was made late last year. The idea just kind of happened, it wasn't a formal pitch. IT has always been one of Richard's favorite books and that came up in conversation with King last year and one thing lead to another...!
