First I'll finish Sommons' Flashback (I'm about halfways), then The Mailman - and finally UtD.

I really like it.
Many Amazon reactions are very, very negative - Simmons shouldn't bring politics into his stories..bla bla bla...
More about that once I've finished the book.

Enjoy The Mailman.It is avery good story.I have The drood and Black Hills on my Simmons TBR list.I like what I have read of his work.Teriw has never read anything by him.I feel bad for her.

I like Black Hills. Not a typical Simmons, but then, what's a typical Simmons?
The guy can write anything. Right now I'm reading Flashback, which is sort of a noir detective/science fiction novel.
Drood - not my favorite.

I think the slipcase for The Mailman and the one similar one used way back for Bad News are my favorite slipcases.
