The Cemetery Dance 2012 LIMITED EDITION Calendar!
Featuring 12 Original, Never-Before-Published Paintings by Glenn Chadbourne!

http://www.cemeterydance.com/Merchant2/graphics/00000001/x_cal2012cover.jpg

Today we're pleased to announce that we're now accepting preorders for the Cemetery Dance 2012 LIMITED EDITION Calendar, which will feature 12 ORIGINAL, never-before-published horror paintings by acclaimed artist Glenn Chadbourne!

Collectors have been asking us for years to publish a calendar and when Glenn showed us this new series of seasonally themed paintings he was working on, we knew it was time! You can preview a few partial samples of the artwork on the website, but we're keeping the rest of the images Top Secret so they'll be a surprise when these calendars ship in December!

All of the paintings are FULL-COLOR and have never been published anywhere in the world before. We will not print more than 1,000 copies of the calendar and we're offering these for the one-time low price of just $14.99 each, so don't wait to place your order!

That's very true :). If it doesn't sell out within a week or so, I'll probably buy it. I swear I have to be CD's best customer lol.
I love everything they make and all the people I've had contact with over the years...Dan, Brian, Mindy and I even talked to Richard on the telephone way back in the 90's when CD was still rather small not the Giant it is now in the book world.
BTW, the people on this forum are pretty cool too ;).

YEAH, I JUST TOOK A LOOK AT THE ARTWORK TOO AND IT'S OUTSTANDING. I'VE ALWAYS LIKED GLENN'S WORK OVER VIRTUALLY EVERYONE ELSE (MAYBE POTTER IS SLIGHTLY BETTER WITH SOME THINGS). I'LL PROBABLY END UP GETTING IT BUT I'M AFRAID TO WAIT TOO LONG.
Sorry for the caps.

Nope not shipping yet. What you probably got dinged for is a UPS shipping upgrade on IT, as Mindy as been adding these to the orders and charging the upgrade costs this week.

The first 500 copies of the calendar are arriving tomorrow. We're going to try and push those 500 out the door tomorrow, with the rest shipping very early next week when they come in from the printer. We are going to ship to the non-us customers first, in the hopes that they receive their copies of the calendar before the end of the year.

By the way, we had people asking to see ALL of the artwork right now, and although we wanted to keep some of it a surprise, we have posted the rest of the images on the "samples" tab of the product page:

I'm very tempted to look, but since I finally ordered one with my CDCC 100% discount recently I will try to resist the temptation. I have no need for a Calender (already have 1 large one for 2012 and 1 smaller one, and hoping to get a 365 day desk calender as well), but I decided I couldn't pass this up since Glenn is right there at the top of my favorite artists (along with a few others)

Earlier, the original paintings were offered at auction to CDCC members (and others I'm sure) and I took a peek then. Very nice.

Think I remember this (would make sense since I purchased the newest CDCC membership), but wouldn't have been able to afford to purchase those. Might be tempted to display some of the pages from the calender though at some point (or get art prints if available and affordable at the time offered)

The 3rd I "won" only cos no-one else (apparently) bid on it, and it's one you actually commented on a while back - Demon Baseball ??? It's not something we can normally do because Kate had to spend about an hour or two going through all of the orders, but we figured it was important since the calendar is a product that has a predetermined starting date (if you want it to be useful) that is coming up fast. ;)

Got mine today and kudos to CD in getting them shipped quickly. One recommendation though, you may want to stamp them with 'Do Not Fold' though. Rather tan placing it in the large box the postman folded it to fit in the small box, leaving a nice crease down the middle. Even more frustrating considering He shoved three packages in there, my ARC for The Doll and a copy of Vessels I picked up on eBay. I actually had to be careful taking things out to not damage anything. Okay, now that I have vented the calendar is beautiful!

Antmusic

Got mine today... the PO did their usual fold-n-shove into my tiny mailbox, but AMAZINGLY they didn't crease it very much. I guess this time it was more of a bend-over-n-shove, thank goodness.

I'm sure my tracking info just hasn't been updated by the USPS, wouldn't be the first time it hasn't updated until last minute. Usually says it's somewhere, but have had tracking info say it was accepted and then the next day say it is out for delivery. Haven't had them lose an order or damage anything, but their tracking system is very unreliable sometimes
