Hey All,

For the month of October, I have handed my blog over to some special guests. We started yesterday with the great (and CD regular) Al Sarrantonio, and a pumpkin crisis (http://kealanpatrick.wordpress.com/2011/10/10/halloween-guest-blog-al-sarrantonio/). Today, Michael Marshall Smith discusses why, despite being a horror writer, he has never written anything set during Halloween (http://kealanpatrick.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/halloween-guest-blog-michael-marshall-smith/). Feel free to stop by and say hi. There are plenty more guests, many of them very familiar to long-time Cemetery Dance fans, coming between now and October 31st.

Thanks, and Happy Halloween (because for me, it starts as soon as the leaves start falling)!

Very interesting read about the evolution of this book. I've been thinking about buying this book and I think I'm almost sold. BTW thanks for all the cool guest spots. They have been a blast to read.

Original or remake? I dug both, in very different ways.

The Vincent Price version is certainly my favorite for many reasons. The remake was just okay to me although I liked the scene with the superglow and the shears...does this make me sound like a weirdo?
