Have both ordered. Have only read The Ruins- read it on a plane and couldn't put it down. Movie was an interesting adaptation. (Have seen Simple Plan movie a long time ago and really enjoyed)

Great news. Just got my copy of A Simple Plan. It is really nice looking.

My copy arrived today. Looks great next to A Simple Plan. Note, I haven't read either and only bought them because I remember liking the moving version of ASP, and the fact that these were signed and relatively inexpensive.

Now I'm thinking that we need a slipcase to house both books . . .

Oh - and thanks for letting me match my numbers.

Loved 'em both. Highly recommended reads, though The Ruins seems to polarize audiences. Congrats on the purchases!

I received both, really like a Simple Plan but never saw or read The Ruins. I was excited at the opportunity to get these and I fact went both for the SL and went for a lettered version of a Simple Plan as it fits well with the rest of my collection. The books look great. If there is one knock it has nothing to do with the books themselves it is the horrible signatures. Wow they are maybe the worst I've received in nearly 250 books. Both were the same so they are consistent but they are little more than a line. When paying full price for a book and CD puts together such a nice product it would be great if the authors could spend more than a half second on a signature. I am sure it is tiring to sign your name 1,500 times but for we the collectors what we put in our collections will be all most of us ever see of the author so just a tiny more care would be really appreciated. I hate to sound winy but these are really almost embarrassing.

From what I understand it's just how he signs everything and doesn't have anything to do with having to sign so many things in a row or anything like that.

I was bumming around the site this morning and saw that both this and A Simple Plan have sold out. I'm surprised that it took so long as I think both books are fantastic. Congrats on the sell-out, though!

They'll ship in the next batch of Lettered Editions, which will hopefully be in the next 6 to 8 weeks.
