Why use the Cemetery Dance name for books that are not by Cemetery Dance. Seems a bit confusing for some people. The Twelve has not even come out yet from Cemetery Dance.Neither has Gone Girl. This seems like it could throw some people off.

Yeah I agree, that's just odd...

It's a way to get your listing(s) to show up in more varied searches.

Yeah, but people searching 'Cemetery Dance' are probably looking for a CD book, not mislabeled books. There had to have been better tags.

There are. I expect it is intentional to just draw more people and hopefully one will be interested in spite of the misdirection....

I get it, it's just not a good idea.

Especially for the new collector. A miss direction like this could really dampen their enthusiasm towards limited editions and collecting in general. I would not do it. I have lost money on some sales however I would rather not misdirect someone.

Agreed. At least it is mentioned in the description that it isn't the Cemetery Dance edition, but that shouldn't need to be mentioned. I would think misleading things like that would be against eBay rules, but I'm not totally sure and don't have the time to look right now.

He is clear enough in the description, you can pretty much tag things as you want. So I don't think it breaks any rules. It's just kind of underhanded and mostly pointless.

I completely agree. Although it doesn't 'break the rules' as such, it is certainly underhanded and most definitely pointless...
