Anyone have experience with worker's comp?

Quick summary: a few months ago I fractured my left middle finger at work. After a bit of time and therapy I went back, with the restrictions that I couldn't climb anything. That didn't work out; too much stress and strain on my finger.

So, the doc once again gave me restrictions to pretty much not do anything with my left hand. Some more time passed, and last week he said there's no point in going to therapy anymore, and that I could return to work at reduced hours - starting at four hours a day, and gradually increase that over a period of weeks.

But I contacted the employment agency today, and they said that the particular company's policy is that there can't be any restrictions of any kind if I want to return to work, especially since when I went back before I had restrictions in place.

That seems a bit odd to me, since it's a worker's comp case. So basically the doc is saying I can go back to work, albeit at reduced hours, and the company is saying no.

Now I don't know what to do.
