Well I corrected grant on saying 22/11/63 and he agreed that even though most of the world says it that way he was still wrong because the title is 11/22/63 regardless. Clearly the Italians do not agree.

Nice collection you've got going. We had that version of "My Pretty Pony" when I worked at the comic store, and now I kick myself for not buying it back then. Granted, I haven't looked, but I haven't seen many copies since.

srboone
04-11-2012, 08:12 PM
Hmm...product reviews say they look great but because the tips are so smooth, eating noodles and other slippery items is near impossible. I know from experience that the Japanese can eat anything with chopsticks, no matter how slippery. However, I'm quite clumsy with chopsticks, so i guess they be show items only.

Whenever we have Japanese food or Chinese food I use a fork and spoon. My wife and kids use chop sticks and look at me with scorn. How about pictures of the Goodkind books.

our "chinese" places don't even have chopsticks. They provide you with a plastic fork, knife and spoon.

You're not alone my friend, sushi is the only think I use chopsticks for.

peteOcha
04-11-2012, 09:26 PM
I also use them for playing invisible drums.

I can handle sushi with chopsticks. And if the meal has meat or noodles I can manage to eat it as well. But rice I just cant get. Even if its lumped together, I always seem to break it apart.

I have a cousin who's a fisherman and whenever they catch a bluefin tuna or some other kind of rare tuna, they have people from Japan send a plane over on the very same day just to pick up 1 fish. :) Crazy stuff. But tasty.

Teriw
04-11-2012, 10:22 PM
you do realize how big a tuna is right? It's not like Theyre not flying over for a trout.

peteOcha
04-12-2012, 08:26 AM
of course I do. Size was not the point of the matter here. The point was that they are crazy for fresh tuna.

I must admit that the fresh tuna I ate in Tokyo was exceptionally good. I want to go back there and try to commit suicide by eating too much sushi :) Also the fugu (pufferfish) is not bad at all (the sake with the fugu tail in it is good too after some drinks :p) Only thing don't look at the fish before eating. Its face is like shrek's :) And remember to not piss off the chef :D
