    pete0cha's collection

Well, here we go! Due to popular demand (and to hush the voices) I present to you fellow forum members my humble collection thread. Before someone else says it, I'll say it: finally!

Anyway, a brief intro before I begin. I used to have many, many more books. Encyclopedia sets, civil war books (and other history sets), some nice hardcovers of great classics in literature, and a wide assortment of fiction. When I moved to Europe from NJ some years ago, all of that went to charity. Only a few boxes came with me. But I've been slowly rebuilding the collection over the years. First I started with PB's (you'll see a fair share of those here), but then I decided that I want to gather a nice library so I started buying more HC's. One book at a time is what I tell myself. And over the years the collection will grow.

Then I found CD while working on replacing my King collection of PB's with HC's. Then this forum was set up some time later. And the rest is histroy!

Ok, so I figured I'd start off with my CD stuff, as this is the CD forum/institution?

    First up, my Shivers collection:

For Pete's sake, it's about time...Pete! Shivers is a great way to start. (actually, I wish I had them all, not just VI).

Forgot to add "it's about time" next to "finally".

Well, that's it for now. More to come later when I get back from running some errands.

These look nice all together. Glad to see the start of the collection!
