Bacon all by its lonesome. Dan knows what he is going. Although I am thinking that this bacon (waffle?) thing will likely fall apart when the bacon shrivels. Then again I guess it depends on how you like your bacon. looks edible already but I like it a lil crispy, not burnt though.

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) has 'OMSI After Dark' event on occasion. Typically they have a theme that will involve some type of adult beverage and the science behind it. They recenlty had one that made no sense to me. They called it Bacon and Bridges, I did make it to the event to see how they brought these things together but they did have bridges made of bacon and a bacon flavored vodka to sample.

Then there's this. Stood Shore Patrol with these guys once during a port visit. They got called on a B&E and since I was riding along with them I had to go. They told me wait outside while they investigated, but the perp ran out my way. He veered around me (since I wasn't moving) and tripped on hidden low-terraced garden wall and went sprawling. I walked casually over to him as one of the cops came around the corner and nabbed him. So I helped, by just standing dumbfounded at the events unfolding!

I didn't know canadians eat fries and mayo though...I have only ever seen my sister do it. While she is Canadian obviously, I have not seen another one do it before...maybe its a french canadian thing, ya know like poutine used to be until the rest of us realized how god damn amazing it is. Also the french thing is also off because most canadians HATE the french, including myself. I'm sure theres a few that are ok but in general they're dicks, just saying.

Also WTF are Preston County buckwheat cakes

Preston County, WV is where my parents are from. Every year they have an annual Buckwheat Festival (county fair) to celebrate the buckwheat harvest. Buckwheat cakes are a sourdough pancake made from buckwheat flour. They're an acquired taste for most people, but they're really, really good. They raise overnight and the batter is very bubbly, then you save some batter as a starter for the next time you make them (hence the sourdough). They're much flatter than pancakes and have a much tangier taste. I found a pic on the web, I didn't take my own tonight.

Kinnikinnick. Its nothing like their frozen crap or the stuff in a box u make yourself. It is very close to real white bread. They only have one fresh food store though and its in Edmonton.
