Nope, not this time, the framed Pennywise T down in the cave was only because it was Pennywise (need to keep that bugger locked down, behind glass if necessary, at all times) ;)

Got mine ordered today. I am curious how the art on the front will look. Will the shirt also have the CD logo? I thought the logo that normally appears on the front would look on a sleeve. Will there be anything on the back?

Pretty sure it's just the art on the front, but will be finalized until we have final sales numbers.

I think the one I'm forgetting might be IT which i received a few weeks ago. oh wait no, its the IT Artwork...Can't believe I forgot about that I'm dying to hang one of them on my wall.

peteOcha

Nah, this one's probably easier to get to. The whiteboard is well guarded. I asked Brian on facebook if he could move the shirts closer to the board and re take the picture as the current background doesn't suit them well. I'm guessing the idea didn't catch on...:)

RED! Must be made specially for me. I'm obsessed with red. Too bad yas don't make womens versions of your shirts. I didn't plan on wearing this shirt but I do now and itd be nice if it was fitted or shaped right.

Dan Hocker
03-20-2012, 05:23 PM
We tried that with the Gak-O-Lantern shirt. There wasn't really enough interest in the women's shirts, and truthfully they weren't really all that different from the regular t-shirts. We might try again if we do this new shirt as it should be really popular.

Teriw

The mens shirts come to close to the neck. I feel like I am being choked. Most mens shirts anyway, I haven't worn any from CD yet. Still waiting for shipping..next week sometime. The only way I can avoid the choking feeling is to buy a bigger size which doesn't work out well because a small can be baggy as it is then a medium is just unflattering altogether. Womens shirts sit lower on the chest even if its only an inch or two and often don't have the stretchy collar. I hate those.

Dan Hocker
03-20-2012, 06:55 PM
Yea, just saying that the one's we got weren't much different. Some of the people who bought them actually thought we sent them the wrong ones. If we try again, maybe we'll try a different brand of t-shirt.

Teriw

I think Kate picked out the last one, but we're picking from a catalog from a distributor, so we can't really look at the shirts.

Nope, but that'd be cool though. I don't think "redrum" is really going to have a whole lot to do with Dr. Sleep though. Truthfully, I don't think Dr. Sleep is going to have a whole lot to do with too terribly much of what happened in The Shining. Just speculation though, based on what King has said about the book.

Teriw
03-21-2012, 07:32 PM
Other than Danny it doesn't sound like its related in any way to The Shining. Knowing SK though it will be related to SOMETHING he's already written.

Teriw
03-21-2012, 07:33 PM

Are you this upset about BlackHouse and the possibility of a 3rd Talisman book or is this just directed at the story of one little Danny.Just was kind of wondering.Oh and I realize that redrum is not going to have anything to do with the new story.I thought it might make a good tribute to the original story that is all.

Black House was a good idea; but the first 100+ pages of inexplicable narration drove me batty--I had to start it three times before I got past "spirit bird" stage. The it got good--really good as a supernatural police procedural--I thought the ending too obscure. But the possibility of a third Talisman novel doesn't bother me. The idea of Doctor Sleep does. But it will all be in the execution. King promises a return to balls-to-the-wall horror, which tells me he's not undertaking an unnecessary sequel lightly...

Black House read like Straub wrote the first 100+ pages, then sent it off to King to finish. The tone was very inconsistent.
