Not a fan of Chadbourne at all, so I could argue all day...but I won't. ;-)

I have the signed S/L HC from Gauntlet, so am trying to make that my only copy. But much like THE STAND -- I have a Fine/Fine 1st, but will definitely pick up CD's edition of this favorite novel -- and SWAN SONG -- I have a signed Dark Harvest HC but did pick up the forthcoming Sub Press S/L HC -- I may pick up the Centipede of SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES. Very few novels that I allow multiple editions for -- due to that chronic shelf space issue I complained about earlier -- but WICKED is very likely among that select group...the PS edition I passed on easily, but Centipede is an entirely different ballgame.

Haha, I understand. And to be honest, I'm generally not a fan myself. But I thought it worked brilliantly for that Bradbury book, tapping childlike imagination of dark, raw and wistful.

I looked for that Dark Harvest Swan Song for quite a while, but the SubPress version ended that search--I ordered it immediately.

For the CD Doubleday years, I couldn't be happier with the work they're doing on those traycased Artist editions. A King signature would be great, but I'm generally more interested in the production quality of the books themselves. CD is knocking these out of the park.

Btw, bugen, can I say that I'm really enjoying your reviews...I see and read the reviews on Twitter/your site for the text feedback, and then watch the videos for the comments on the production qualities. Always really enjoy getting that broad perspective of the book, both as a delivery of text and as a work of craftsmanship/art.

I think my number is 95 on this series. I have different numbers for the Vintage Horrors series, the Jim Thompson series, the Cornell Woolrich series, and the Fredric Brown series, unfortunately.

^It's quite a nice edition! I'm a bit surprised that it's still in stock.

I wanted a copy of The Shining too-One of the copies that recently surfaced at CD. It appears I waited too long and The Shining is now sold out.

Oh yeah, they've been sold out for a while. If a copy shows up somewhere you better snatch it up quick or it will be gone again.

I picked up some interesting Folio Society books at a church yard sale this morning. Steven Ranchman’s three volume A History of the Crusades, really made my day. I love crusading literature and this set looks fantastic. It cost me $1.50, hardbacks were priced at .50. I picked up several other sets that I’ll post later.

Carrie arrived today. I haven't had time to check it out. The last 24 hours (at work and in my room) have been rough to be blunt. I got a notification the Gwendy's Button Box audiobook I purchased shipped today. I'm on the fence about ordering the slipcased trade edition of Sleeping Beauties.

I just picked up The Collected Ed Gorman PS Publishing from Camelot Books. Slight bump in the bottom of the slipcase, but it was a good deal. I'll post some photos when I get it.

I saw that in their email today. Nice add! I want to track down a set for myself on of these days. Ed Gorman's another writer that I wish was discussed more.
