Any idea where to order this or where to pick it up? Didn't say in the article.

I have been trying to find that also. So far all I have seen is that it will be available online and at bookstores and details are pending.

I also read that the 1st printings will be limited to 2500. I wonder if they'll be numbered and/or signed. I sent out a couple of feelers to bookstores but haven't heard anything back yet.

I have also seen that the first printing is limited to 2,500 but have found no indication how they will be distinguished from additional printings.

While I understand that vinyl is cool these days, it's a pretty specialist item. Not the most practical medium for an audiobook. Very hard to play at the gym or in the car! Hopefully there'll be a digital version somewhere down the track.

The Entertainment Weekly write up states that the album will include a 'Full-length download of the audio book'.

The Dark Carousel package comes with a full-length download. It's right in the article. For dudes like me who have vinyl, this is the preferred type of vinyl where you get a digital download. It is sometimes called a download card in the product description, but it's usually just a code on a piece of paper.

Books are weapons in the war of ideas.

Sure. I saw that. My problem is I'll be paying probably $40 for postage (on top of the cost of the vinyl) for something I don't want. If I could just buy the download card, I'd be happy.

I feel for you. Postage out of the US makes many things cost prohibitive. I sometimes feel bad that things take longer to reach me in the Pacific Northwest but at least I don't have to pay more for shipping than the item I purchased.

It'll be a specialty item for me as well as part of my collection. I doubt I'll ever crack the cellophane unless I have a chance to get it signed by Joe. If it isn't already.....

It is described as a two record set and is being pressed with special vinyl so I expect to open it up to see the artistry. I also expect the download code to be inside. Other than that I will probably frame it as I do not have a record player. But I want to own it!

That's be cool if it opened to see the art. I'd be interested to see how ya frame it as that's a great idea.
