    THE FIREMAN by Joe Hill:

There have been several The Fireman relate posts but as it gets closer I thought we should have a stand alone thread.

Joe is running a promotion with Waterstreet book. If you pre-order a copy of The Fireman this week (2/22 through 2/26) you will be entered into a drawing to win one Joe's personal copies of older limited edition books. He also says we will run this promotion again in March and April.

Here is Mr. Hill's post about this:

    Here is Waterstreets order page:

Harper Collins is also offering a Signed version of the book. it has a unique ISBN number so I believe it will be a tipped in signature sheet rather than flat signed.
This version is available for pre-order from Books-a-Million at;http://www.booksamillion.com/p/Firem...00001m#details

It has been announced that PS Publishing will be making a Signed Limited Edition but as of now little is known except 'September 2016'.
Here is a link to PS Publishing.

I believe six cities are listed on the back of the ARC for a book tour. When I get the list of cities I will post them.

Our good friends here at Cemetery dance offered a limited number of books with a signed book that will match the cover art. This has sold out so I am unable to post a link. They are also making custom slipcases for the U.S. trade Harbcound version of the book which can be ordered here:

Thanks for the info. You need to fix your Harper Collins and PS Publishing links - they both point to Water Street Books.

They are -- Seattle, thankfully for me, is one of them.

Thanks for creating the thread, Martin. Excellent job as always my friend . Hopefully Joe will land somewhere near the heartland as well. Would love to meet him as he seems like a pretty approachable dude.

I have seen him twice. I have light up horns signed from him for asking a question when he was promoting Horns. Saw him again when he came through town for NOS4A2, took my niece who really enjoyed it. She was most surprised at how funny he was. Powell's Books in Portland will be one of his stops for this one, my niece is excited to see him again.

His author page on the Harper Collins website is showing the current tour dates:
                https://www.harpercollins.com/cr-103734/joe-hill

I'm happy to see that he's going to be making it my local indie bookstore.

Fantastic! Thanks for finding this. He is coming to Powell's in Portland on Saturday May 28th. interesting part is that is is being moved from the store to a building a few miles away. They are clearly expecting a crowd for this one.

                    Ron,

The Harper Collin's site does not list a Seattle stop. It is possible that they just don't have the details ironed out yet. Hope it works for you.

Looks like my best bet would be Austin or Iowa. Not sure I can make it though .

Yeah, I just visited the site and: What the -- ?? I distinctly remember seeing Seattle listed as as stop on the six-city tour that the back of the ARC promoted...but, you're right, the above link @ his publisher doesn't list a Seattle stop. :-(

Seattle was definitely on the ARC. Fingers crossed something works out. I was excited about going again.
